ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
We feel that it is so important to give back to our Los Angeles community. We have decided to focus our community outreach efforts to the homeless youth of Los Angeles. With the help of the USC Suzanne Dvorak-Peck School of Social Work we were introduced to My Friends Place and Safe Place for Youth. They are both homeless agencies that provide meals, showers, clothing, health care, education, employment support and more for homeless youth. We have been serving meals and delivering donations to My Friends Place and Safe Place for Youth for over 3 years with the help of our Trojan Family. We invite you to be a part of our “Live to Give” campaign. Through your donation we can continue to provide assistance to these homeless youth.
Thank you and Fight On!

HOW WE HELP
One of the first things that we learned about homeless youth was that one of their biggest need is shoes. This is how we decided to start a sneaker drive. Please help us reach our goal to collect over 5,000 pairs of new men's sneakers at our 4th Annual Sneaker Drive during the 2019 USC Football Season.
A very important part of helping homeless youth is volunteering your time. Clay often mentions that the greatest gift that you can give someone is your time. Our players volunteer their time to serve meals and drop off donations. It is an important lesson of giving back.
We have been serving meals to homeless youth of Los Angeles for over 3 years. We invite you to join us by sponsoring a snack, a meal or a full day of snacks and meals. Visit our donation page for more info and to become sponsor today!
REQUESTING YOUR SUPPORT
HELP A YOUTH TODAY
When we were learning about the different categories of homeless we were 100% in agreement that youth were where we wanted to focus our attention. Having 3 children of our own, as well as about 110 football players that we have the honor to watch over, we know how important it is to take care of youth. The majority of the homeless youth are between the ages of 18-25. They deserve a chance at a better life. Your donation will assist and essentially inspire homeless youth to reach their full potential.
Did you know that there are over 53,000 homeless youth in California? This is an unfortunate statistic that needs to change and together we can make a real difference! Please join The Clay and Angela Helton Foundation & Safe Place For Youth in the fight to end youth homelessness in Los Angeles. This summer SPY will begin their newest project, housing for the homeless youth families of LA. Angela and Alison Hurst & Rachel Stich from Safe Place for Youth met to discuss funding for this new project and how the foundation can lend a helping hand in the process. Stay tuned for updates on the new Safe Place For Youth housing facility coming this August!
